I’ve got TWO special events during the month of March (not counting my sister’s spring break away from her 3rd graders!) so I made these special occasion cards:
One is an anniversary card for my sweet husband. We celebrate our 9th year of marriage on the 20th. He’s not likely to see this blog post, so I think I’m safe posting it here! The other is a birthday card for my mother-in-law, Judy. Her birthday is the 11th (that’s why I’m posting this after her special day!)
I made both cards quickly and easily using the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Patterned Occasions, and designer paper called Sycamore Street. The button on the anniversary cards and the ribbon on the birthday card are from the ribbon and button pack (another Sale-a-Bration item!) I used the Decorative Label punch on both and added a little Dazzling Details at the end for an extra something special!
It took me about 10 minutes to make both cards, including figuring out the layout, colors and papers to use! I used my two favorite papers from the Sale-A-Bration Sycamore Street designer paper!

First, Happy Birthday to my mother-in-law Judy! Come back in a couple days for a post with her birthday card! Today I wanted to show you a CASE (copy and steal everything) card that I made recently, with the Oh, Hello stamp set and the lovely Print Poetry designer series paper stack.
Once again, this simple card came together FAST – the hardest part was choosing the paper and colors to use!

The projects for this class can be customized to meet YOUR needs – if you don’t need a “teacher” card, you can certainly adapt it for your favorite student. If you don’t need a Mother’s Day card, you can make yours a birthday or thank you card.
