CASE = Copy And Steal Everything

This is my new favorite thing to do in MDS (besides scrapbooking!) – I find cards I love, on Pinterest or other sources, and I recreate them in My Digital Studio!

I’m terrible about keeping track of where my original card ideas are from, but I do know that all three cards above were Pinterest finds, and were made by other demonstrators. I simply searched for Sale-A-Bration and/or Sweet Sorbet designer paper.

These cards featured here I loved so much that I’ve even had them printed using Stampin’ Up!’s MDS printer. They turned out great!

More MDS Fun!

If you follow me on my Facebook Page, then you have seen some of the MDS digital scrapbook pages I’ve been making lately. I’ve been working hard to get my family album finished for 2012, so I can move on to working on this year!  If I were making these pages traditionally (with real paper, etc.) then I guarantee I’d be much further behind!

Mid-Month My Digital Studio Project

A few months ago, in my “Spring Into Summer” class, I used My Digital Studio (MDS) to create one of the projects… a frame overlay.

Frame Overlays-004wm Frame Overlays-003wm Frame Overlays-001wm Frame Overlays-002wm

I printed the overlays above in my home printer, onto vellum card stock. I then cut them to 4″ x 6″ to fit into a photo frame of the same size, on top of a pretty designer series paper.

Once you put the photo frame back together, you can use a dry-erase marker to write on top of the glass, creating a fun (and EASY) gift for that special person in your life!

If you like the frame overlays I’ve created above, then here’s how you can get the un-watermarked copy. I’ll send them to you for FREE if you either join my email Mailing List by filling out the form on the top left corner of my website or download the MDS Free 30-day trial from my Online Store!  If you are already ON my Mailing List, then send me an email request and I’ll send the frame overlays to you!

Mid-Month My Digital Studio Project

I wanted to share yet another My Digital Studio project with you today. It’s another page from my 2012 family album. My son and his Granddad (my dad) had the best time last year, planting tomatoes and cucumbers in Granddad’s garden!

Gardening with Granddad MDS scrapbook pageI knew I needed to fit a LOT of photos on this one page, so I came up with the filmstrip idea, building it with digital frames and photo boxes until I got it just right. I only had to build the first one, then copy and paste the other two!
